UConn offers more than 100 majors, programs of study, and academic concentrations at 14 schools and colleges, including programs as diverse as business, dental medicine, engineering, fine arts, law, liberal arts and sciences, medicine, and pharmacy.

Founded in 1881, the University today spans 4,108 acres at its main campus in Storrs and five regional campuses, and an additional 205 acres at the UConn Health Center in Farmington.
