To recognize excellence among faculty, the UALR Foundation Fund Board of Directors initiated the Faculty Excellence Awards in May 1989. Faculty members in each college nominate their peers to compete on the University level in public service, research or creative endeavors, and teaching.
In each year since, we have set aside an evening to honor our faculty members' contributions and achievements. These individuals' influence on our community and our world is undeniable.
