What are you talking about? The RX-8 has liquid filled rubber engine mounts.

If 0-60 mph can be done at 5.6 to 5.8 sec with ~190 whp, you can do the math on what 350-400 whp would do. The car weighs 3000 lbs, though you can get it down to 2800 if you strip it.

Not really. If you look at the dyno charts of a properly sized turbo on the RX-8, you will see you can push 12 psi or more at 3,000 rpm because the rotary pushes out so much exhaust gas. Under 3,000 rpm, a SC or turbo will not be making much power. Trying to gain torque at under 3k is not really useful - we cruise on the highway at 4k rpm, so you'd always be in full boost range on a turbo the moment you hit the gas.

You realize that PSI is meaningless, right? Pressure doesn't determine power levels. It's FLOW that does it. Additionally, you also forget to factor in the compression ratio of the engine.

yeah, turbo is undersized if you try going over 6 psi. it's as safe as the tune, but the turbo seems prone to overboosting randomly. I had much better experience with a GT3071R.

int-x is a microtec. It was OK when we first started modifying the RX-8, but now we can reflash the ecu and the ecu in the car is far more advanced than the microtec system. So there really isn't much reason to use the int-x unless you are limited to MAP systems.

They were cut to fit. You can get them precut, but then you have no choice on length.
