Parkour is not about the tricks. It is about two things. Having fun and having the freedom to move in any direction you want. The way I move expresses the ability to become part of my surroundings. To become part of nature. No longer a mere occupant of it, but part of it. Thats why I dont like to wear shoes. One cannot *truly* become part of nature if there is a man-made object between skin and dirt. and if one day there is a circumstance in which I need to escape fast or need this ability of movement I will be ready. This is why we parkour.
