Hopping the speed regulators is fun. I travel almost every week 200km with my velomobile to my girlfriend and 200km back again to my home in Groningen. Because of the great distance it is easy to find more routes. This time I found a perect smooth asphalt between Haarle and Hellendoorn, but it had speed bumps. Of course I immediately sped up to 42km/h to get airbourne.

Trip from Didam to Groningen with a few minor climbs over the Holterberg. My girlfriend lives in Didam, me in Groningen. I don't have a car (don't like to drive) and don't like to go by train. I do have some fast recumbent bicycles and a good condition, so why not go cycling? As it happens there is a hill with some hefty climbs and I like hills, especially the thrilling descents. Don't laugh at the altitude of merely 500ft. Even such tiny hills are hard to find in Holland!
