One of my all-time favorite songs is "Ferry across the Mersey"! Since I first heard it in 1965, it grew on me and by playing it many many times I developed my own version of this song, e.g. transforming the flute part into a crunchy guitar riff. Altogether, we added sort of a psychedelic touch to this beautiful song from Liverpool.

Several years ago, I played guitar in a group called "The Starfighters". Localized in the Wetterau region near Friedberg in Germany. Here are some impressions from two rehearsals of this (fifties and sixties music) group way back in November 2005 in a cellar in Friedberg-Dorheim.

Jack is one of the best drummers I ever played with in a group! In his younger days (1984-1989) he played with Hanse Schoierer in Munich.
