One of my hobbies is of course fans. I hope it doesn't wreck other people's fun viewing, but in fact, the plastic fans that break in the videos are in fact fans that I found and picked up in the alley, and it figured that they would make some really cool vids if I rigged them to break during operation. The narration in a lot of my fan videos is also more than less made up and highly fictional to make the fan videos more fun to watch. But the truth is, today's plastic fans really are junk.
I also of course like videotaping severe weather, especially when it involves winds to at least 60 miles per hour.
