I am an addicted traveler. Unlike people who complain on crowded planes, I'm never happier then getting on a jet and going somewhere...anywhere. Lonely Planet is one of my bibles of travel even though my husband (who will be known throughout as the "ex-marine") and I are in our 60's.

The peoples of the World are nice!! The great majority are always willing to help even if you don't speak their language. Forget about timidity - travel the world and experience some of our experiences.

This is rude, arrogant & ignorant. Imagine they'd do the same thing to u? Come & take pictures without any permissions? By the way, those people are not dangerous, I'd say they're endangoured people seeing how strangers come & treat them. To give u an advice read a book about the different tribes of Ethiopia to understand their culture before u start shooting...

I am more grateful (than evah) that I have the opportunity to travel. Its not the destination, its the journey and the experience. You dont look 60 to me. 60 is the new 50 right! Take Care !
