Hope you enjoy the videos of our trip to the paradise of the Galapagos Islands. Truly the best destination to choose when going to Ecuador. We choose to spend some days on Santa Cruz Island do-it-yourself style and afterwards going on a cruise to visit the beauty of the Southern Islands of the Galapagos: Plaza Sur, Santa Fe, Espanola and San Cristobal. The first days we enjoyed Tortuga Bay and the tourist life of Puerto Ayora. Also we took a bay tour around Puerto Ayora and saw the giant Tortoises! On first class yacht Galapagos Voyager (highly recommended) we first visited the Charles Darwin Research Station to get more insight in their conversation work. After that we saw rich birdlife everywhere: Frigate Birds and Boobies (Blue-Footed and Nazca). Sea Lions greeting us everywhere and on the first islands plenty of Marine and Land Iguanas! Santa Fe and Espanola Islands also have a rich marine life: Reef Sharks, Spotted Eagle Rays and Sea Turtles everywhere.
Besides the landscapes and the people, animals are a often returning gueststar in our videos. Therefore, a special playlist dedicated to the animals from French Polynesia and the continent of America from south to north.
Torres del Paine: the start of a trip from South to North, wasn't an easy one. A five day hike called the W Circuit in the most southern part of Chile. See us suffer in lake Pehoe, but also enjoy the amazing sights of Torres del Paine, Valle del Frances and Glacier Grey. Furthermore, a short stopover away from the Pacific led us to Argentina and its tourist hub "El Calafate" to experience the breaking of the worlds biggest and only expanding glacier, Perito Moreno. Watch and hear the experience yourself!
From Tourist Paradise, both Chilean and foreign: Pucon, we decided to explore the off-beaten trail of the Lake District in Chile. This challenging choice let us to National Parks of high qualitiy and exceptional diversity. From the green hills of National Park Huerquehue with amazing views of its surronding volcanic environment, to the desolate lunar landscape of National Reserva Malalcahuello and its devastating results of eruptions from the past. And don't forget its rich wildlife!
Welcome to my channel. As the coming months (maybe years) Ill be travelling the globe, I got this crazy idea to share some of ot with the world. My plan is to start somewhere in the middle of the pacific and from there land in South America and go up via the rugid Andes to the tranquil jungles of central america and the southern/central states of the USA to finish in green canada. But be aware, if budget and brain still allows me, maybe I cross over to china/russia
