I am a Canadian citizen, but when I signed up, the page was being stupid, so I lied and claimed that I was from the U.S. in order to start sooner.

I am all for peace and tolerance, critical thinking, and education and knowledge.

Religion sucks because it causes too much unnecessary violence and pain and suffering. All is just sheer idiocy over a nonexistent entity called God.

If a person were willing to kill another human being in the name of Ares (Greek god of savage war), for example, we would most certainly dismiss this person as having gone mad. But because the Abrahamic religions are so well carved into Western thought and tradition, we seem to think that belief in the Abrahamic God is less ridiculous than belief in, say, Osiris or Jupiter or Odysseus of Homer's Odyssey.

To the contrary, the Bible tells us that upon God's return there will be violence and Judgement. Jesus himself said so. Please do not try to twist God into being what you think he should be. And Constantine was Great.
