I am all for peace and tolerance, critical thinking, and education and knowledge.
Religion sucks because it causes too much unnecessary violence and pain and suffering. All is just sheer idiocy over a nonexistent entity called God.
If a person were willing to kill another human being in the name of Ares (Greek god of savage war), for example, we would most certainly dismiss this person as having gone mad. But because the Abrahamic religions are so well carved into Western thought and tradition, we seem to think that belief in the Abrahamic God is less ridiculous than belief in, say, Osiris or Jupiter or Odysseus of Homer's Odyssey.

I believe in God personally but religion is the cause of war..also different cultures between countries, such as the fact that they don't agree with the pornographic industry that is thriving in the united states.
