The trillo sostenuto is a real handful. What you need to have the thumb and index finger trilling whilst the other fingers play the melody above it. It really calls for total independence in all fingers.

I've been playing through the Fischer Passacaglia, and I cannot figure out an efficient way to tackle the "trillo sostenuto" section. Any suggestions?
