Topology is an Australian band playing original music based on ideas. We often collaborate across genre boundaries, working with indigenous musicians, classical, pop, jazz and techno musicians, comedians and theatrical types. Some of these include Kransky Sisters, Gerry Connolly, Kate Miller-Heidke, Grant Collins, Misinterprotato, Terry Riley, Clocked Out Duo, Full Fathom Five, and many others. We compose a lot of music based on speech and other conceptual approaches. We are John Babbage, sax, Christa Powell, violin, Bernard Hoey, viola, Robert Davidson, double bass and Kylie Davidson, piano.
