Atrévete a Soñar (Dare to dream) is a Mexican telenovela produced by Luis de Llano for Televisa under license of Ideas del Sur. It is adapted from the Argentine telenovela Patito Feo (Ugly Duckling). Danna Paola stars as Patito and Eleazar Gómez as Mateo. Violeta Isfel, and in later episodes Alberto Dogre, play antagonist roles as Antonella and Giovanni. The telenovela features adult stars René Stickler and Vanessa Guzmán, and Cynthia Klitbo, who completes the love triangle as Antonella's mother Bianca. It began Sunday, March 8, 2009 as the first telenovela to debut on a Sunday. After a year of great success, becoming a major hit in Mexico especially among children, its final episode was also on a Sunday, March 7, 2010. It won four 2010 TVyNovelas awards.
