When Walthamstow closed over 200 greyhounds were retired, leaving a huge task to ensure that they all found a good home. The Walthamstow Owners and Welfare Association were equal to that task and in this report their chairman, Barrie Clegg, explains how, with the use of a new kennel facility, they rose to the challenge.
