out dated /outlasting /outlandish
back biting/ back stabbing /no backsliding
dog days/ dog gone tired/ in the dog house
hold it /hold my breath /don't hold back
life Is short
death is sure
sin the cause
Christ the Cure
thrown out /thrown over board/ thrown together
driving nails/ driving rain /drives me crazy
out of town/out of bounds/ on the rebound baby
ebb and flow/there i go/ back and forth
life is short
death is sure
sin the cause
Christ The Cure
Christ ...The ....Cure!
He makes me better...
Christ ...The ...Cure!
He makes me better!

Michelle Picardo (Music Editor of
FreeTime Magazine) in her review of "Praying Mantis" dubbed Wales Road's sound as ...
"Taking Metallic Punk To Heavenly Heights"
I love the energy of 80's Christian punk bands like the Altar Boys and The Lifesavors, and I love the intensity of Modern Rock & New Metal groups like Creed, Evanescence, Demon Hunter, Disciple and Skillet
We play it this song at all of our gigs, in bars and in churches,
(There are sinners like me and you in both places )
Posted HEAR/HERE
Performed and Filmed LIVE at 'Friday Fire Concert Night' Sponsored by Koinoina Fellowship .
Footage And Editing Courtesy
Rick Campbell .CMC Productions
LINER NOTES:
This is a song about Life and all of its ensuing struggles.
Sometimes we have "dog days" where we feel tired and worn out.
Sometimes running the race brings us to a place where were running out of breath,
Other times it feels as if though we have been thrown over board, while everything around us swirls out of control.
In the midst of our circumstances we can find great comfort in knowing that Jesus Christ IS the Great Physician. He has healing in His Wings .
The outlook looks better when its a UP - look is to God.
Focus on Him and not the circumstance.
Peace comes in the midst of the storm
when we ask Him to have .......His will .
"Be joyful in Hope, Patient in affliction, faithful in prayer"
(Romans 12:12 )
