Always try and watch my videos in High Quality. The first step is to register with YouTube. That will allow you to have the videos play with higher quality (Account-Playback Setup-I have a fast connection. Always play higher-quality video when it's available). Almost all of my videos (95% or so) will then automatically play using the higher quality version. You'll know it's working when a red "HQ" button appears at the lower right side of the player. It makes a big difference, believe me. HQ quality is bad enough; normal quality is horrible. If you get it but it's black, click it to so it turns red. If you don't get any "HQ" button at all, then use the link at the bottom of my Video Descriptions to get the better quality version. There are only a few videos for which that should be necessary.

Laxmi Chhaya

Like many others, I wonder why Laxmi Chhaya never became a big star. She was attractive, acted well, and could dance up a storm. This playlist honors her and the many hours of enjoyment she gave us in the films from a bygone era. Beginning with one of the all-time great dance music videos, the opening dance number in Gumnaam, the first 5 will include some of my favorites, followed by others I have in a more-or-less random order.

Sai and Subbalaxmi

Was there ever a better dance team than the sisters Sai and Subbalaxmi? In my opinion, there wasn't. There's not much available on DVD of their work throughout India, North and South, from the mid-fifties to the mid-sixties, but what's available is exquisite. Beginning with the astonishingly good Aplam Chaplam from the film Azaad, this playlist presents the videos of the sisters from my collection.
