Tom Colquhoun is a self-taught Scottish guitarist based in Glasgow who has been playing since the age of 8. In his teens he developed his own unique style of playing two guitars simultaneously with both instruments sitting upright on a stand of his own design, the two guitars being played predominantly using the technique of 'tapping'. The style allows for great versatility with one hand/guitar playing chords and bass and the other hand free to play melody and lead lines. On his recordings you can clearly hear two distinct and separate guitar parts-these are recorded live with no other musicians or overdubs. This, however, is just one of many techniques Tom Colquhoun employs either in playing two guitars or one guitar to expand the range of possibilities for guiitar music.

Hi Tom, Paul T here. Still wish the old Causeyside tea-time eejits were all together for another session of talks, beers and regular nonsense....lol..(Martin, Frankie, Darren, John L(rip), Donald, Nan and many others...great times...)

Great to see you have this on here now. I've posted links to it on a couple of forums and reckon you'll get a few more fans from there too!

Keep in touch mate, i'll be grabbing that album soon as well.
