Harry Nilsson is excellent with this cover song, but it was first recorded and released on the album 'No Dice' in 1970 by the British rock group Badfinger. Pete Ham and Tom Evans of the Badfinger's wrote it. It's a beautiful song. Many artists have covered it. Check it out here on youtube.
