I grew up watching old monster movies and fell in love with the stop motion process. Many of the films posted on this site are very old and I will try to get more up in the near future. These films were shot mostly on super 8. They were made from 1975-1986. Later I will put up some newer films as well.
About Me:

Growing up i wanted to be a comic book artist, inspired by the comic "the Amazing Spider-Man", and the art of Steve Ditko, and John Romitta. I could draw spidey pretty well by the time I was six. One friday night when i was in the 3rd or 4th grade I saw the film "King Kong". The film effected me greatly and I decided I wanted to make things like Kong, even though I didn't know a thing about how the film was made. In the 8'th grade I discovered stop motion animation and some of the other secrets behind kong. I have been filming ever since.

Wonderful!!! The stuff dreams are made of. I'm a lover of Obi and Harry as well and my favorite movie is King Kong 1933 (much to my wifes disbelief)
I've been experimenting with animation recently and have a few posted. I sub'd/friend. Can't wait to see more of your work in the future. Peace:-)

Hi Tim,

It's been awhile already, but thank you for the awesome post on the SMA board about frame rates. The funny thing is, I'm not new to animation, I just didn't do much of it for about 9 years, and when I came back to it, the way it was done (now digitally) was completely different. I started on analog tape! Now all these digital options for everything plus the added headaches inherent in using Windows and trying to create from that have been slowing me down. Adapting won't be impossible, though. I really appreciated what you had to say.
