About Me:
So, I suppose I'll start by introducing myself. My name is Eric Provan. I am currently working as an artist at Sony Pictures Imageworks in Cuvler City, California.
I graduated from Fullsail in June of 2005. A few months later, I began my CG career at Kush Games / 2Ksports. I learned a tremendous amount at Kush Games and truly cherish my time spent there. In January of 2007 I began work at the Jim Henson Creature Shop. Henson is a hero of mine, and working for the Creature Shop was a wonderfully inspirational experience for myself. After wrapping up work at the Henson company I took up a quick freelance job at Super 78 for the Cartoon Network. From there I accepted a job at Sony Pictures Imageworks as a modeler.
The journey up to now has taken me in many different directions, but I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Growing up, I was always interested in sports and art. Kind of a weird combination, but I feel it has helped make me the eclectic person that I am. I'm extremely passionate about art, and very excited to spend the rest of my life creating things.
