I would have to agree with you on that, its obvious the less disc's or pins/levers in a lock the easier it will be to compromise, the lock you see in the video has a total of 8 disc's inside

Removing the pin from the 8 pin pick will allow you to use it on the 7 pin lock, i cannot do a vid on it because i dont have an 8 pin pick with the pin intact.

I think it gets jammed because the pins in the body of the lock get caught in the slot on the bottom of the keyway in the plug, if you take the plug out of the lock you will notice a slot on the bottom of it where the back (bottom) of the key runs, why this happens to some and not all i dont know.
