Shadydale Drum Corp. & Director Jeromy Maxwell aired on Victor Trevino Live. The group is a champion drumline that is undeafeated in the Grand Drumline Championship. The group has also traveled to New York City to perform at the Famous Apollo Theater and Radio City Music Hall.
in addition, the students opened for the Drumline live staged show at Jones hall this past January.

In an effort to honor the seniors of the community and give them a day of celebration with food, dance and gifts, Harris County Constable Precinct 6 Victor Trevinos office will hold its annual Senior Citizens Gala for the Young at Heart on Tuesday December 15, 2009, at the George R. Brown Convention Center, 1001 Avenida de las Americas from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Senior citizens from various sites in Precinct 6 along with others from throughout Harris County will attend the gala for an afternoon of holiday cheer and memorable fun. The days festivities will include a visit from Santa, presents, plenty of food, a special performance by Pancho Claus and an appearance by the Houston Aeros.
Over the years, the event has grown tremendously from its humble beginnings. Back then a few hundred attended and it grew so much that it had to be moved to its current location at the convention center. This year, the event is expected to draw well over 2500 seniors.
Constable Trevino said this is a way of giving back to the seniors in the community. This is just a small token of our appreciation for everything our young at heart give to others - whether its community service, their kindness or their wisdom, he said. Theyve paved the way for all of us and we are truly thankful.
This event is sponsored by The City of Houston George R. Brown Convention Center, Aramark Corp., the Precinct 6 Constables Athletic, Recreational & Educational Events Inc. (CARE), the Precinct 6 staff, and the business community. Thanks also to the gracious contributions of the many individuals and volunteers that help make this event possible.
