The Grouch emerged from the Bay Area intelligent hip hop scene in the mid 90's. He is a member of the world reknowned Living legends crew. As a beat maker, businessman and most notably, MC extraordinare, he has built a reputation for being at the forefront of independent music. His down to earth, heartfelt approach to writing draws listeners in and makes it clear he is not your average "underground artist".

The Grouch has sold over 250,000 units independently and performed for hundreds of thousands worldwide. He has recorded with various notable artists such as: Raphael Saadiq, Atmosphere, Madlib, Zion I, Mistah F.A.B., Heiroglyphics, Aceyalone, Goapele, Abstract Rude, Daddy Kev, D-Styles, Mike Marshall, Esthero, Flying Lotus, Gift of Gab, Pigeon John, Paul Dateh, Mystic, Supafly, Main Flow, DJ Khalil, Instant Messengers and countless others.

He recently released the critically acclaimed album "Show You The World" on Legendary Music, his first solo LP in five years.
