The Progressive Christian Center of the South

The mission of PCCS is to promote self-critical thinking about biblical and theological tradition; to encourage individuals and small groups in the church to resist top-down literalist and fundamentalist interpretations of Christianity; to raise awareness about systemic injustice; and to call for action to grassroots justice efforts in communities across the South. At the core of this Progressive Christian work are two essential activities: providing educational resources for individuals and small groups in churches and networking people and grassroots justice organizations.
