The Kora Workshop

The kora is the 21-string harp from West Africa. It is one of the instruments played by traditional Jali families, the musician caste of story tellers, historians and advisors who have played such a key role in West African culture.

Internationally renowned players such as Toumani Diabate from Mali have raised the profile of the kora in recent years.
