Original film for the classic song by Joe Raposo. This put me in a pensive mood as a kid, but I was captivated, especially by the orangutans' cement enclosure.
From my perspective today, the dated zoo environment is definitely depressing. Maybe that's what led to footage of snow leopards replacing the original visuals. Raposo, however, subtly and artfully kept this bouncy tune from being 100% lollipop, so the original filmmaker's choice of images is still intriguing to me.
