The Daily Californian is an independent, student-run newspaper serving the UC Berkeley campus and its surrounding community. Established in 1871, The Daily Californian is one of the oldest newspapers on the West Coast and one of the oldest college newspapers in the country. Daily Cal staffers have the unique opportunity of gaining daily metro news experience in the lively city of Berkeley.
Comment Policy: The Daily Cal encourages readers to voice their opinions respectfully in regards to both the readers and writers of The Daily Californian. Comments are not pre-moderated, but may be removed if deemed to be in violation of this policy.
Comments should remain on topic, concerning the video to which they are connected. Brevity is encouraged. Posting under a pseudonym is discouraged, but permitted.
A comment will be deleted if:
