TOURDATES ARE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE!!

"The Key is respecting the music," says keyboardist Chris Plante. "We do, and it puts us with the fans. We're one with them. That's what it's all about."

Friends of music, The Brew is taking the studio to the stage. The voice of this energtic young quartet is marked by carefully crafted songs with poignant, consciencious, and often fantastical lyrical content, combined with an innate ability to travel and explore within those songs through improvisation. The music of The Brew is friendly to both home stereos and dancing shoes.

Hailing from Massachusetts' North Shore, The Brew formed in 2002 when longtime friends Dave Drouin (guitars/vocals) and Kelly Kane (drums) decided to formalize their musical careers. Tightening their bond, they teamed up with brothers Chris Plante (keyboards/vocals) and Joe Plante (bass/vocals) and forged a musical relationship rooted in a connection only seen in the foundation of family and friendship. The four musicians clicked instantly and it was obvious from the start that they possessed that indefinable "IT" that is rare and often overlooked, but sensed in the music, and always searched for by fans.

Winning Relix Magazine's latest "Jamoff," voted Best Opening Act of 2006 by Bruce Hornsby fan site Bruuuce.com, and earning a place on stage as a featured act at the 2007 "SNOE.DOWN" festival in Lake Placid, NY, the accomplishments of The Brew are building momentum.

Complimenting their cohesiveness as individuals and songwriters, is the sound direction of their improvisations. Never straying too far from the essence of a given tune, The Brew stretch and pull the boundaries of their compositions, always creating space for ethereal experimentation in live settings. The maturity displayed in the musicianship of The Brew excites eager audiences, and gives one the impression that The Brew will be a household name in time. On a good night fans are left feeling that they are part of something special.

The Brew appeals to rock, funk, jam, jazz, reggae, and pop enthusiasts alike, and it has been said that their music summons the spirits of artists such as Peter Gabriel, YES, The Police, and contemporaries like Percy Hill. The Brew have recently teamed up with an experienced management company and booking agency, leaving them more time to concentrate on what they do best, create music.

Their intelligence, creativity, and ambition are some of The Key ingredients in The Brew and their growth from regional success to national recognition.

With a new studio album slated for this year, 2007 is ramping up to be the Year of The Brew.

Thanks to everyone who's been supporting the BrewTube so far!!

Things should only get better around here. With a new camera on the way, and another in the repair shop, the low quality videos will be a relic of old, and the sights and sounds of The Brew on YouTube will be improved forever more!!
