Hmmm...Lets see. I've been into Model railroading since I got an HO train set when I was 8. I built my first turnout when I was 13. I've done a few clinics on hand laying turnouts at the local hobby show. I started out in HO scale but the then switched to N scale about 6 years ago. That's all I got to say for now. I hope you enjoy my ramblings on scenery, N-Scale turnouts, and other topics. I'm having a blast sharing what I've learned.

After much babbling through the "Painting a Backdrop using Airbrushes" series I'm painting my own backdrop behind the interchange scene on my model railroad. There is no "chat" in this series. It's just me in high speed mode and the music I wrote and performed in my home studio. Just sit back, relax and watch it unfold.....
Make a static grass applicator with an electric fly swatter
3 videos
This is a 3 part series on how to make a "Poor Man's" static grass applicator out of an electronic fly swatter. I had read a forum post over at trains.com that this could be done and I had to try it myself. If you play your cards right, you'll spend less than 10 dollars to make this thing. Happy grassing on your model railroad!

Hello Evert, What are the chances that I would find a guy about my same age that is in to Trains, Loves music and even is a Bass player? My son and I enjoy watching (and listening) to your videos. You have offered some great new ways of doing scenery that we hope to utilize in our latest layout. Have a small 4'x6' N scale layout and now working on a much larger O scale layout. Hope to someday post some video. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing not only your pike but, your music as well. Alex
