Some of these channel comments are depressing. As an atheist non-jew I support the right of Israel to exist one hundred per cent, though the settlements should stop, & in time Israel should withdraw to the pre 1967 borders - but that is difficult if you're surrounded by those who wish you harm. I have nothing against Islam, provided its adherents speak out against the terrorists in their midst - which is not happening enough. This all sounds wishy-washy liberal but maybe it's better than hatred, which only breeds more hatred.
