3 hour experimental epic adaptation of the novel by William S. Burroughs... with Allen Ginsberg, Brion Gysin, Phil Proctor, Peter Bergman, Jürgen Ploog, and Anne Waldeman
Bits and pieces of my project to revive the corpse of Ed Wood Jr. in the form of several feature films and shorts. I managed two features and a short thus far, trailers in here. Yep, they are finally finished... so enjoy tasteful pitches for "DEVIL GIRLS" and "THE VAMPIRE'S TOMB" with Phil Proctor of the Firesign Theatre commanding us to be shocked, aroused, and electrified.
Outtakes, songs, and debris from my endless drive-in garage band noise epic that's gone through several dozen permutations... rough draft written in 1998, utterly mangled and altered by 2000 by the point production began and continued for five years. "You find your rhythm" as that guy from Montana says. George Kuchar says "Nice tinting and flash cutting." The New Jersey Film Festival says "too long and too cheesy to screen." What will you say? Find out, whenever I stop crying long enough at the latest stings and arrows of outrageous misfortune.
Cries and moans of pain and public domain pleasure about that most prickly of subjects, "luv." Popular strains of music strained, sliced, and deliced: Bobby Darin, Joy Division, Velvet Underground, 50s slop, and oh yes - shabby original stuff wailing about the oldest subjects left rotting in the sun. Take a self referential, hysterical tour through the "moldy hell of men and women" as some Smith put it.
Make yourself sick with no-budget sketches churned out throughout 2000-2005... an entire unreleased season. Some people just make pilots. We went nuts and made six, including three longform episodes: "Father Dracul," about a series of avant dull Eastern European vampire films, "Los Monos Atomicos," a perplexing detective story involving apes or something, and the first installment in the "MORBID CROON" story - the birth of Smedley Hoboken and Joe E. Crumb: Entertainers. Without peer. Well, very few of them.
Endless piles of odd film and video... bits of obscure features, something like 300 shorts and shrieks from the dark. who else shoots film for Youtube video? Obviously something is wrong with me. Find me on Facebook and find out what.
