Aikikai 4th Dan, Through Nishio Sensei,
21.5 years in Aikido. Started at Sunset Cliffs Aikido, San Diego area, Early
January 1986. Stationed west of Yokohama Japan Oct 1990 to Dec 1993. Transfered to USS Independence out of Yokosuka, Japan, Feb 1994 to Feb 1997. Studied more with Nishio Sensei in Yokohama & Tokyo area. Practiced with Hitohiro Saito on Wednesday nights from Oct 1990 to Dec 1993 and Morihiro Saito on many weekends in Iwama. Practiced Iwama style with Ryuji Sawa (formerly Inagaki) when ship was inport one night per week in Misaki Guchi, (South tip of the Miura Peninsula).
