THE EU HAS TAKEN THE PKK OUT OF THEIR TERRORIST LIST.

A EUROPEAN Union court yesterday overturned a decision to place the Kurdish rebel group PKK and its political wing on the EU's list of terrorists.
The Luxembourg-based Court of First Instance said that decisions made by EU governments in 2002 and 2004 to blacklist the two groups and freeze their assets were illegal under EU law.

It was formerly considered sufficient to describe the Kurds as the descendants of the Carduchi (Gordyaei), who opposed the retreat of the Ten Thousand through the mountains in the 4th century BC.
