GREAT NEWS KURDISH BROTHERS AND SISTERS...
THE EU HAS TAKEN THE PKK OUT OF THEIR TERRORIST LIST.

A EUROPEAN Union court yesterday overturned a decision to place the Kurdish rebel group PKK and its political wing on the EU's list of terrorists.
The Luxembourg-based Court of First Instance said that decisions made by EU governments in 2002 and 2004 to blacklist the two groups and freeze their assets were illegal under EU law.

It was formerly considered sufficient to describe the Kurds as the descendants of the Carduchi (Gordyaei), who opposed the retreat of the Ten Thousand through the mountains in the 4th century BC. Kurds now consider themselves to be Indo-European who are descendants of multiple groups (including many non-Indo-European) believed to have settled in Kurdistan, over a period of thousands of years

The Turkic peoples and the related groups migrated west towards Eastern Europe, Iranian plateau and Anatolia. Turks or Turkish people are among those who migrated early from what is known today as Mongolia to modern Turkey but also among the late-arrival peoples; they also participated in the Crusades. After many battles they established their own state and later created the Ottoman Empire; their tactics were all-out sieges and invasions
The Mongols devastated the Kurdish areas in the 13th century. Hulagu's Army eliminated many Kurdish tribal chiefs. In 14th century, Timur conquered most of Kurdistan&devastated Kurdish tribes. In fifteenth century Karakoyunlu rulers helped Kurdish chieftains to recover their lost influence. However, when the Akkoyunlu dynasty defeated the Karakoyunlu, Kurdish tribes were persecuted. The Akkoyunlu exterminated many notable ruling Kurdish families and appointed their own governors in their place
