The mission of Talking Fingers, Inc. is to empower generations of children with excellent writing, reading, and thinking skills that they can use to enrich their personal lives, earn a good livelihood, and contribute to a more literate and thoughtful society. Since 1994, Talking Fingers has been awarded four grants from the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) to develop and research high quality educational software.
TFIs flagship software, Read, Write & Type, for children ages 5-8, offers a revolutionary approach to learning to read and write, based on a multi-sensory method that teaches keyboarding, spelling, grammar, and punctuation as children learn to read and write. A second product, Wordy Qwerty teaches 20 spelling rules with games and a song for each rule.
