TV writer, the best place that I know of to get Hausa movies if you are not actually in Nigeria or Niger is www.hausamovies.com. They are not all subtitled in English, but a lot of times you can figure out the basic gist of what is going on even without subtitles. If you specifically want ones subtitled in English, look for Sanafahna, Albashi, Waraka, Sansani 1, Jann Kunne 1,2,3, Auduga 1, 2, and there are others too that I haven't seen. Good luck.

Yes, I do love Hausa movies. I grew up in Jos, so knew a bit of Hausa from there. I found out about Hausa movies when doing an intensive Hausa language course in Sokoto and learned more while doing research in Kano. What about you?
