Q: How do I become a pro gamer?
A: There are dozens of paths that can lead you into professional gaming. The more popular your game, the better. You can be the best Mario Kart player in the world but if there are no tournaments for your game then you really can't "go pro" in it. Don't be afraid to travel. Traveling and competing in games that are popular (or getting popular) and placing top 3 in them or even playing in a fashion that will force people to pay attention is definitely a good way to get noticed and make a name for yourself- all while getting paid.
