I work at and am a eleven year volunteer for the Animal Shelter of Schohaire Valley.

The Animal Shelter of Schoharie Valley, Inc. was founded by a group of residents of Schoharie County disturbed by the plight of the many starved, abused and stray animals in this area.

ASSV is a not for profit organization and is made up of all volunteer members and board of directors, with the exception of the shelter manager and kennel workers.

The goal of ASSV has been to try to alleviate stray animal suffering and to build a shelter to house, feed and care for these animals until safe and loving homes are found for them.

ASSV also strives to educate the public to spay/neuter their pets to eliminate the problem of unwanted offspring.

You do a great job with these. Our kids fell in love with Piper on Saturday, and now they have shown all of their relatives, and friends across the US.

It must also be cool for you to have a record of all the animals you have connected with over the years at the shelter. It is a great service!
