AT 9:25 AM, 7/11/08 Anyone else get this message? Apples servers are flooded, and wont be fully functional for everyone for 24+ hours.

Comment, and lets talk about how frustrated we all are and what we have heard from Apple... tell us all your problems too! iPod and iPhone!
UPDATE 2:04PM, 7/11/08 Still nothing, and it is 2:04 here in the US... just waiting. Now, actually, it says there is no update available AT ALL!!! WTF?!?!?!?! Did they actually pull the plug or something?!?!?!

I sent this email to Apple: We Could Not Complete Your iTunes Store Request The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.
I have been trying since 8:00 this morning to upgrade my iPod touch to the 2.0 software. But I get this message ever time I click "Learn More" in the pop up box. Sometimes it still even says that 1.1.4 is the current version. I have been chatting online with 400+ people with the same problem, it is making news, (internet and TV) and I was wondering when I can use all the apps I bought? Is it my computer that is the problem or something else? I am guessing that it is something else as nobody I know who owns a touch has updated yet at all. Is this a massive problem that won't be resolved any time soon? I don't dare use the link that has been floating around because I heard that the 2.0 also bricks touches and iPhones too?
Any shortcuts? Suggestions? I really sorta need the update before 5:00PM tonight. Please inform me and the public what the problem is.

Still nothing. Went to a party for a few hours, came back. Nothing... It is too late for the update to arrive on time, and I am very frustrated.
However, Apple did email me back!
