From kinggemini92 : okay im sick and tired of everyone saying that they are emo, this song isnt even about that, this was written while he was quitting oxycotin, a painkiller... that makes you completly numb, so when he was quitting he was in constant pain, so in other words he would rather feel that pain then feel completly numb (nothing at all)
