Hi Konig1985 - yes the boot space is a problem with only 385 litres of capacity with the rear seat upgrade package installed. If boot space is at all important to you, then I would not recommend this option. It's surprising how much you can fit into the boot but it has been a problem when collecting passengers from the airport in the past. Also, since I drive the car mostly, I don't often get the benefit of the rear seat upgrade package.

My dad is thinking of upgrading his ls 430 to ls 460l with the rear seat upgrade package like yours. However the dealership do not have samples of rear seat upgrade package and we do not know how much trunk capacity we will lose. Is there anyway you can post a video of your trunk space and put some golf clubs in to show?

Have you also regretted going with the rear seat upgrade when you find out u cant fit luggage in the car when picking someone from airport?

I had 3 Mercedes before, and to be honest, the dealer aftercare left a lot to be desired. So they were not an option. The R8 is a fabulous car, but I wanted a 'limo' style car rather than a sportscar. I could have gone for an A8 or an S8 instead but I actually never thought of Audi when I bought my LS460. Later I did take a look at an A8, but I'm quite happy with my choice. Though I like fast cars, I'm getting older now and I prefer comfort to pure sport and to keep my license rather than do silly things on the public road, even though my LS460 can corner at over 100mph in the dry (where legal) and gets to 155 pretty quickly when you floor it (again where legal). For pure motorsport thrills on a budget, and a good start to learning the art of car control, I strongly recommend karting.

If you like fast cars, why drive something like a Lexus? Why not an Audi? S63? R8? RS6?
