This channel is dedicated to short films about my life suffering and living with bad mental health. The first mini biography is about BDD- Body Dysmorphic Disorder which is the belief that you are hideously disfigured in someway when the defect is small or nonexistent.

I am also the author of the autobiography "Suicide Junkie", published by Chipmunka publishing, which not only covers my experiences with BDD, but also Borderline Personality Disorder, depression, alcoholism and self-harm. I hope to make these topics into short films also.
I also have a book of short prose called 'A Moment Gone'

For more information, please refer to my book which is available at all major bookstores, or to my website www.SWestwood.com.

I am happy to hear from anyone who feels they can empathise with my films, who needs someone to empathise with them, or if you just want to talk about something that is worrying you.

i too have BDD, you are very brave, sometimes I cant even look in the mirror without makeup on or i get physically ill. I cant walk outside of my house without it on or i have a panic attack. Ive gotten made fun of bc I wear too much makeup and some do call me ugly. and some also call me pretty, the comments are even. Its very distressing. Im getting up the courage to talk about it in my abnormal psych class and Im going to refer this video to my fellow students. I think this is right on point and will help them understand what we go through, if u need anything, im just a PM away..

Hi Stephen! You are so brave.. I myself have borderline and this is a very strange disorder as you know. Very difficult to live with in many ways. I just want to say thank you for being so open about your life and pain. This is truly amazing what you are doing! I would love if you would add me as your friend here and on facebook.. I think we have some things in common. Ditte from Denmark.......
