Suddenly Dance Theatre is an established part of the City of Victoria's cultural community - as both an Importer (presenter) of dance and as an Exporter (creator) of dance. Our recent touring activity has allowed us to be proud ambassadors globally - through national television, film festivals, residencies, as well as works toured to such diverse places as Seoul, Kim Hae & Busan (South Korea), Hornby Island, Vancouver, Nanaimo (BC), Guelph (ONT) and New York (USA). We are also known as the producers and the curators of the annual Romp! Festival of Independent Dance and the newer UNODANZ Performance Award Program.

Suddenly Dance Theatre is a Canadian charitable non-profit society (BN #885685636RR0001) based in Victoria, British Columbia with a mandate: To educate and provide opportunities for dancers and choreographers to improve in their craft; and, To educate and increase the public's understanding and appreciation of dance by providing performances of an artistic nature in public places.
