Hi Thank you! Congrats on your new pup! Puppy training starts with the breeder and then the moment you get them you can start training them the basics. Oz knew all his basic commands at 7 1/2 weeks of age. They are sponges at that age and very easy to teach. In regards to give a sharp "no!" or "ouch!" like a dog would make. This is the same reaction that your puppy would get from another puppy if he bit too hard during play. This will teach them that he is being too rough. However, when he licks you instead of biting, reward him for that behavior. Remember: reward the behavior you want - positive reinforcement :) Good luck!! Let me know if I can help
