StudioCamps ستديو المخيمات (Studio Moukhayyamat) is an independent grassroots collective of Palestinian and Lebanese Community Artists, based in Lebanon. We create experimental artwork and media across various genres, in collaboration with our peoples who deal with the burdens of imperialism and economic injustice everyday.
Most of our inspiration and work comes from the Palestinian Refugee Camps. Training the community as well as our own artistic development is central. We have been producing since 2005 and represent a range of skills: photography, audio visual, sound design, music recording & production (with a focus on Arabic hip hop), graphic design & web page construction.
Multimedia is just a tool and not the master of our artistic choices.
