NICE! Looks like ultra-low friction and easy tacking & gybing. Ironically, I learned to sail on White Bear Lake back in 1967 when my father bought a 24' Columbia Contender. Seemed we were always running aground so moved it to Lake Pepin in 1970. Good post!

Good question! Not very fast, but by sheeting out or even backwinding the sail, and turning into the wind, one can slow in a reasonable amount of time. That's why you want to have lots of room around like a dry lake. Thanks for asking.
