Strawberry Shortcake is dreaming of a world filled with berry plants that she and her friends can share. But when the Peculiar Pie Man comes to Strawberry Land, her dreams and friendships die, leading to a crop whose stock has been devoured by "Berry Birds". After arranging a sleepover with her friends, Strawberry and the rest travel to the Land of Dreams on a Dreamboat that Ginger Snap has built, in order to stop the Pie Man from taking over their residence.
After Madeline performs a successful science experiment dropping an egg off the balcony of the old house without breaking it, Pepito dares her to drop her egg of the top of the Eiffel Tower, and the two end up getting stuck in an elevator there, and being forced spending the night.
Hard to believe it's been 30 years since Strawberry Shortcake arrived on the scene with her trademark strawberry-scented toys, TV specials, and wide array of products.
Not at all hard to believe, however, is that today Strawberry Shortcake is as popular as ever, proving that sweetness is a universal virtue and sweet scents are timeless.
