well in fact money is considered property, so yes it is fair to put rent on it like rent on any other property
as for the video you recommended (money as debt), i agree on its points against reserve ratios and advocation of sound money, but it makes a big overlooked assumption when it discusses the effect of interest in the money supply

David Icke never claims to know the truth, even more, he encourages you to not believe everything he says simply because he says it is so. He recomends people to follow their intuition and do their own research. He's simply presenting us with another viewpoint, challenging the current viewpoint that society has been led to believe. That's what visionaries do. Then, you wonder, if there is a second perspective, then there could a third and a fourth... then how many viewpoints exist? A: infinite number of possibilities.
