Sorry, it doesn't really get going properly (lights) until, say, 2 minutes in.
But this was done cheaply, using flashing red christmas tree lights.
Simple enough - just feed the lights through the hole in the side of each tom and snare. It's best to remove the heads and tape the lights to the side of the drum so they're not resting on the bottom drum head. This stops rattling and prevents damage to the heads.
I'm working on changing the speed of the lights to suit the mood of the playing!
