The song is "Fly" by Blind Guardian, off their latest album "A Twist in the Myth." I couldn't resist putting it with footage from these two movies, since the lyrics talk about J.M. Barrie and Neverland.
As always, no copyright infringement intended -- I'm just an obsessive fan, wishing to pay homage to these great writers, actors, directors, musicians, et. all.
Also, on a side note, as of the posting of this video, I have 200 subscribers. Thanks, guys! I hope you like this one.
(And sorry about the kind of crappy video quality and definitely crappy sound quality. Vista WMM, it turns out, is a bitch.)

Depressing DPS vid, focusing on the unhappiness and futility surrounding the boys' lives, with specific focus on Neil's suicide. The song used is "Mad World," originally by Tears for Fears but covered by Gary Jules. It's overused but I wanted to use it anyway.

Star Wars prequel trilogy set to AFI's song "This Time Imperfect" focusing Anakin's disappointment, disillusionment and loneliness. The impact of being separated from his mother, and later, of her death. The impact of Qui-Gon's death and consequently being taken under Obi-Wan's reluctant wing instead. And how Anakin and the Jedi just did not mesh; although the Jedi were good and well-intentioned, they were perhaps too inflexible and unsympathetic in his case, which was unique. Just like Anakin's fear of loss ended up ultimately bringing about that loss, the Jedi's fear of Anakin betraying them only served to further alienate him and helped bring about that betrayal.
Disclaimer: No copyright infringement intended. I recognize that this material is not mine and all credit goes to AFI, George Lucas, and everyone involved in the Star Wars movies. I am just a lowly fan, doing this purely for entertainment!

The ongoing battle between Good and Evil, the struggle to hope in the face of so much destruction... Includes nearly all of the characters, with some focus on Frodo.
One of my favorite songs ever with one of my favorite movies ever! The song being "Street Spirit (Fade Out)" by Radiohead, the movie being, obviously, "The Lord of the Rings." The first half of the video uses footage from "The Fellowship of the Rings" while the last minute and a half uses "Return of the King."
No copyright infringement intended. Check out the movie on IMDB for more information on it: http://imdb.com/title/tt0120737/

Narnia! This is about the four Pevensie children - especially Lucy - and their adventure in Narnia, and the feeling of longing for that place.
Set to "Soul Meets Body" by Death Cab for Cutie.
Narnia is not mine - I am just a fan, making no money from this. Check it out on IMDB: http://imdb.com/title/tt0363771/

The video file is in the correct aspect ratio, and it used to look correct on YouTube, but for some reason... they changed it and screwed it up so it look all stretched now. What the hell. "Just because you feel it, doesn't mean it's there."
I redid this because I wasn't satisfied with the last one. I like it better -- hopefully you will too. I've included more movies this time. Added movies:
The Labyrinth Merlin Harry Potter Bridge to Terabithia
And the movies from before, still included:
The Lord of the Rings The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe Star Wars Dead Poets Society Pan's Labyrinth Peter Pan Finding Neverland Pirates of the Caribbean Neverending Story
The music is a song called "There There (The Boney King of Nowhere)" by the band Radiohead.
The idea behind it is a desire for another world, for life to have some magic and deeper meaning to it, and being confronted with doubt and disappointment regarding that desire. It's a tribute to some of my favorite fantasy (and non-fantasy, but still dealing with the subject of fantasy) movies.
Disclaimer: I do not own any of the footage used in this video. I'm just a fan doing this for fun, not making any money from it. No copyright infringement intended. You can (and I encourage you to) look up these movies on IMDB for full credits: http://imdb.com

Spoiler alert! If you haven't seen the movie yet and want to, then go watch it first.
Music video set to the song "Becoming Insane" by Infected Mushroom, the edited video version (be sure to look for and listen to the full version of the song -- it's awesome). The footage is from the film "Fight Club" which I do not own and which you can find more information about here:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0137523/
If you have not seen the movie, and do not want to be spoiled for it, do not watch this video. If you have seen it, it's pretty self-explanatory.
And the tiny snippet of music playing during the credits is from Pink Floyd's "Shine On You Crazy Diamond."
