Excellent. You should be getting the same answer. multiplying by 5 and dividing by 9 is the same as dividing by 1.8. Try it on a calculator. Dividing by 1.8 just saves a step which is why I do it. The reason you have to do that is that a degree in Celsius is 1.8 times larger than a degree in Fahr...

The method I use on the calculator is to multiply all of the "top" numbers together and then divide by each of the "bottom" numbers. In this problem multiply 60 x 5280 x 12 x 2.54 then take that sum and divide it by 100 and then that sum by 1000.

You may want to check your conversion factor from meters to feet. 12 feet equals 3.6576 meters. As far as unit canceling your method works great.
